APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

 

The tape may be applied manually or mechanically.

 

1)        Mark the position of the tape on the road surface with chalk (or similar)

2)        Sweep the surface to remove any loose debris or dirt.

3)        Ensure that the road surface is free from grease, oil or other contaminants.

4)        Apply a layer of UKT79 primer with a brush  (1 litre will cover approx 5M˛)

5)        Allow the primer to dry slightly – until it will not transfer if touched.

6)        Unroll the tape and press down firmly

7)        Repeatedly press down on the tape with a brush to improve the initial contact. Especially on the edges.

8)        Drive slowly several times over the tape to ensure maximum adhesion.

 

IMPORTANT : The edges of the tape can be very sharp – unroll with care, using protective gloves.
